It’s time for the AFP to do its constitutional duty to protect the people

As we view and assess the current political situation of our country, we cannot help conjure the biblical account of the Armageddon that will take place after the 1000 years of God and the righteous joint rule on earth, during which Satan will be imprisoned in the so-called “bottomless pit” all throughout by God’s will, and will be released briefly to mount his attack, together with his big army of evil spirits(numbering like sea sands) against the spirits of the saints and the righteous, specially the spirit of rulers, to bring or force them to his side. This is the battle of good and evil spirits — the Armageddon the Book of Revelation presages. It is merely a battle in the plane of spirits, not physical battle, that involves massive physical destruction, as popularly thought of. 

This spectacle of Satan unleashing his might after his incarceration for 1000 years to attack righteous spirits to force or cajole them to his side, is apparently fast forwarded to our present times. Satan now is mightily using illegal drugs, his modern times instruments, to bring people to his family, the slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful,” (Romans 1:30-31), “lovers of their own selves, covetous, … trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, ..Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures.” (2Timothy 3:1-4). In short, to his band of evildoers and criminality. 

Look at our leaders in government who obviously do not do give a damn about the welfare and the rights of people, and their underlings and other powerful government people, who are either running in circles achieving nothing for the good of the people or pursuing their own political evil agenda knowing that the political leadership doesn’t care or has no concern at all what’s happening on the ground. Simply, they have succumbed to the power and dominion of Satan. They measure up to the ways of Satan: insolent, arrogant, 
boastful, inventors of evil, untrustworthy, unmerciful, lovers of their own selves, covetous, trucebreakers, false accusers, despisers of those that are good, and traitors. Pray tell, are they not? Just look at the kind of lives our people are enduring as a result, abandoned or neglected, and left to their own devices. While our leaders relish their all-consuming virtue — lovers of pleasure because they are consummate lovers of illegal drugs. 

We hate watching ‘chismis’ vlogs which abound in the social media. But about 2 days ago, while scanning vlog programs/channels on politics, we accidentally pressed the interview of a certain Cathy Binag with a lady vlogger, and she caught our attention as she was talking about the very explosive issue of illegal drugs addiction of the high and mighty in our government and society. We were roused to hold on to this program as she continued to expose people, deep in the reins of government, into drugs. Our curiosity on her story intensified as it was so telling and mind-boggling that we begun to watch her other interviews. 

We observed closely Ms Binag’s demeanor, her downright spontaneity, her quick straightforward answers, the logic and consistency of all her statements, the circumstances under which her revelations were made. Further, she belonged to and orbited the circle of government personages of drug users, and she is a first-hand witness to the drug sniffing binges or orgies of the leaders of our government.  She possesses the badge of a credible and truthful witness, and her statements can stand in courts. 

What is so scary is her statements that the first family is into drugs, and about half of the President’s cabinet secretaries are likewise into drugs, and about one fourth of the congressmen are just into drugs, too. 

Is it any wonder then that we witness a weak leadership, total lawlesness, waywardness, craziness, iniquity, delusion, and indecency in government policies and actions — these being the hallmarks of prohibited drug influence?

The cruel raid and ravage of the KOJC members and property in Davao since June 10, 2024, and now on its worst stage is the perfect epitome of the hallmarks of drug use, considering the crazy and naked lawlessness of the ransacking of the place. Our government policies on our foreign affairs that are courting war with China is another exhibit of the same epitome. Our domestic policies that are out of touch of reality of the common man’s urgent need for deliverance from his misery are attributable to the waywardness and delusion of policy makers. And so on and so forth. 

We are doomed, mark our word. We must be protected from our precipitate to doomsday. The AFP has the constitutional duty to protect the people from their haul to tragic misery and to uphold the constitution by protecting the people’s rights to expression, freedom, and property. We ask the AFP leadership to study well the grim and grave public statements of Cathy Binag, and if necessary to talk to her to get the facts for their own assessment. This they must do to fulfill their constitutional duty to protect the people (Article ll, Section 3, Constitution).
