In my earnest reading of the Bible as a Christian, l discovered that there is an exceptional breed of men, a distinct part of humanity that God has already condemned to eternal damnation while they are still on earth. This debunks the popular christian notion that God is ever ready to grant mercy or forgiveness to anyone at anytime.

God has doomed these men to perish because “they refused to love the truth,” “they have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.” And as they happily persist in doing so, God sends them thus aptly “a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie,” that the love of money and power is good and savory values. It is God’s will that such “powerful delusion” remains with them and controls them for God sees in their hearts that out of the precious gifts of free will He gave them, they have chosen with finality to be wicked, rather than to be righteous. (Please refer to 2 Thessalonians 2:10-14).
For them, there is no turning back, and “have in fact already turned away to follow Satan” (1Timothy 5:15), for they are happily consumed by the pleasure of wickedness. Hence, they get the condemnation of God this early in the biblical narrative of the coming God’s final judgment day.
I am inclined to think that these God-damned men may well refer to our current politicians whose unbridled and merciless greed for money and power has rendered them completely numbed and conscienceless, absolutely bereft of any moral qualms about violating the Bill of Rights of the people and the laws and constitution of the land. What they say and do is the law. They have stripped us of the rights and protection inherent to our espoused democratic principle of the rule of law, and have instead foisted themselves on us guided solely by their God-sent curse of “a powerful delusion” to believe the appropriateness of continuing their evil conduct.
They continue to rob the people blind in a fashion and magnitude so monstrous and scandalous (look at the exposed public documents and the Supreme Court initial orders as hard evidence), they continue to abuse the people (look at how they harass, oppress, persecute, maltreat, and threaten with assassination people who, in the exercise of their constitutional right to free expression, dare expose the truth in the media about government abuses, if you are not blind or stupid or both, see your TV and cellphones screens for the bright and screaming evidence), they continue to lie to the people, “not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in” them, like there is none in the Devil.( Please refer to John 8:44). Pervasive lying is the hallmark of these politicians, for they have to cover up or justify their evil schemes and deeds because they want to carry out their father’s, the Devil’s, desires. When they lie, they speak the native language of the Devil, for the Devil is a liar and the father of lies. (John 8:44).
It is in the above light that l dared the conclusion that our country is in a precipitate fall to perdition. If our country is under the stewardship of a unique breed of men that God — no less — has condemned to “powerful delusion” to love wickedness, we are clearly then treading no other ground, except the road to perdition.
I have ventured to discuss here the law of God based on my sincere and persistent reading of the Bible to help me arrive at the basis of my own rendition of the state of the nation, for hardly l read or hear discussion of spiritual doctrines juxtaposed to our government affairs. And so, l have refrained from discussing the law of men vis-a-vis governance actions. After all, our political milieu is already deluged with earthly legal opinions and discourses on the matter.
Nonetheless, lawlessness or wickedness of the government is plain and simple to see. You don’t have to be law Dean or law professor or legal expert to see or appreciate this plain truth. It only takes a man of sincere and good heart to see this simple truth. If these legal minds of pompous titles and their sympathizers insist otherwise and cover up or justify this lawlessness in legal gobbledygook or in the government patented sleight of ‘budol-budol,’ aimed at convoluting the plain and the simple, then we have a problem.
God comes again to convict us: Light (Jesus) has come into the world, but people love darkness because they are under the sway of evil. (John 3:19)
Let us not despair, though. God, in His perfect wisdom and prescience, had prepared from eternity yet the formula to combat the curse of this “powerful delusion” of the wicked in our midst. We say evil triumphs because good men do nothing. God categorically tells us that in the face of evil, we are not to remain silent but to oppose and resist it. (James 4:17, Romans 12:2). If not, two things will certainty happen: one, evil will flourish and tighten its rule on us, and two, “we become a partaker with them” (evildoers). (Ezekiel 3:18). Good men of the country take heart, do God’s will — fight evil. Live up to the moral courage and determination of the proverbial A Few Good Men that narrates the triumph of righteousness over the wickedness of powerful men. At all costs, let righteousness prevail in our beloved land. For righteousness, God thunders, exalts a nation, but wickedness and corruption destroy it. (Proverbs 14:34)
